The preliminary design is for 32* stations configured in a quasi-regular array with 15 m E-W and 45 m N-S spacing on the ground each station would consist of a uniform array of 5 × 5 cross-dipoles as illustrated in figure 1.

The array is currenly planned to be located on MIT property in Westford close to the Haystack Observatory. Interference studies are underway to see if this site is acceptable.
