Powerpoint

PowerPoint Presentations for class discussion and lecture include the following topics:

These presentations can be used to introduce and discuss topics covered in the Solar and Geomagnetic Investigations. The information slides are not currently animated, however each text box and picture can be easily animated by custom animation in the pull down slide show menu. The songs at the end of the presentations have been animated so the slide transition will follow the words automatically after the first mouse click.

PowerPoint Presentations for class review:

These presentations are used to review material in a fun way. The slides are all hyperlinked to the first page. This allows students to pick a category and number of points. When you click on the number it will go to the question. To get back to the first page, click on the sun symbol. When a question has been used the number will change color so students will know which questions are still available.

Notes: Projectors, such as In Focus, work well with both presentation styles. Fun game format...Use Classroom Challenge buzzer lights as a way for students to ''buzz in'' if they know the answer to a question. Small groups of 2 or 3 work very well.
