Zenith Antenna

The Zenith antenna system was constructed in 1963 to use with the UHF transmitter which had previously been connected to the 84 foot steerable antenna that was converted to L-band operation at that time. The Zenith antenna system has been used extensively for incoherent scatter operations at Millstone Hill since this time. Currently the Zenith antenna is in good condition and it will play a major role in the ZIP project.
