June 2000 14ers Trip

Steve and John managed to squeeze in four nights of camping and four peaks between the 2000 GEM and CEDAR meetings - working out of our favorite town of Leadville, CO.

Spectacular vallies climb towards the Maroon Bells back of Snowmass. Here the East Snowmass drainage awaits exploration.

Steve reached double digits (for 14ers) at Grays on our final hike. Here, Steve is chased off Grays and Torreys by the building storm.
